Dani and Lee got married at the beautiful and fun City Museum in Downtown St. Louis, MO. Actually, they were married last year, but due to the pandemic, they were unable to celebrate with their family and friends. So, they re-did it all – complete with a sweet vow renewal and party at the City Museum.
Dani and Lee got ready together at the gorgeous The Last Hotel STL, which is right on iconic Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis. The Last Hotel is the perfect place for a sweet first look and some wedding-day portraits. We ventured down Wash Avenue, and later, to the City Museum rooftop for even more portraits of them. Since they didn’t have a wedding party, we were able to spend extra time documenting their love.
It poured right in between us getting to Washington Avenue and the ceremony. You can see how dark the sky is when we got to the rooftop!
One of my favorite parts of their City Museum wedding was having a cat toss instead of a bouquet toss. They brought a stuffed cat. Everyone was invited to join. Whoever caught the cat had to adopt a cat next. It was awesome.
Another one of my favorite parts of their day is having a bunch of their guests come with them to the top of a giant slide. When you have your wedding at the City Museum, you and your guests can explore after hours. So, of course, they took advantage!
