Whether you’re from the Lou (and proud) and needing some fresh content for your IG or coming to visit and want to show off on the ‘gram, you’re going to need the perfect spots for those Insta-worthy photos or even some engagement or wedding photos. Here are 7 of the most Instagrammable spots in Saint Louis, Missouri:
The Gateway Arch is located in Downtown STL and is ICONIC St. Louis. It’s a must-visit location for locals and tourists alike. For the best photos of the St. Louis Gateway Arch, I recommend going on top of parking garages around Dowtown or viewing it from Kiener Plaza.
Also located in Downtown STL, Washington Avenue is one of the most popular (and pretty) streets in St. Louis. Between 12th and N Tucker, the road is brick. It is also typically blocked off to motor traffic on Saturday evenings, making it the perfect time to get your shot for the ‘gram.
Central West End is a beautiful, historic neighborhood right in the heart of St. Louis. Filled with gorgeous homes and local businesses, almost anywhere is Instagrammable, but I recommend strolling up and down Euclid, as well as Maryland, for the best backdrops for your IG.
Cherokee Street, a historically Latin American area, is filled with DIY shops, restaurants, breweries, and more. The street art and quirky vibe lend itself to so many IG opportunities. Be sure to grab a unique beer at Earthbound Brewery!
Looking for somewhere with a high-end, classy vibe? The Muny (located in Forest Park) is perfect for your IG. Bring your partner and attempt the dip-and-kiss photo right in the center, or walk away from the camera while looking back over your shoulder.
Also located in Forest Park, the elegant Saint Louis Art Museum and surrounding area is filled with Insta-Worthy backdrops. Stand further away to get the whole museum in the backdrop, or sit on the stairs for another view. There is also a statue across the street from the museum that has Saint Louis engraved into it that’s a perfect spot!
Lafayette Square is a neighborhood filled with colorful Victorian townhouses and small businesses. This walkable neighborhood is filled with Instagram opportunities. You can also wander into the park for even more gorgeous spots.
