Manhattan Vow Renewal | Ale + Ben
Another love story legacy documented that I’m excited to share today! Ale and Ben’s Manhattan vow renewal was stunning, chic, and intentional from start to finish. You really can’t beat the iconic spots where Ale and Ben were photographed in NYC. This elopement-style vow renewal was artistic, romantic, and full of emotions.
Ben + Ale’s Love Story
Two Love Letters to NYC – that was the theme for Ale and Ben’s special day. These two sweet souls are madly in love with NYC and each other. Ale and Ben were married 11 years ago at an old monastery turned luxury hotel in Antigua, Guatemala, but moved to NYC where they built a life together. As they’ve fallen deeper in love with Manhattan, and the rest of NYC, they’ve fallen deeper in love with each other, too. On their 11th anniversary, we recreated their wedding day, Manhattan elopement style, to renew their commitment to one another in their new home.
Ale + Ben’s Manhattan elopement-style vow renewal
Ale and Ben started their day at the iconic Bethesda Terrace in Central Park. They read new vows to one another, recommitting to this love and life they’ve built together. The love between them was palpable. It’s clear that they have continued to cultivate deep trust, love, commitment, and care for one another. Both of their outfits were absolutely stunning. Ben’s blue suit felt classic yet modern. Ale’s white bridal suit and short veil nodded to NYC’s editorial bridal elopement styles.
After taking photos around Central Park, we headed to another iconic Manhattan spot – The New York Public Library. There are so many gorgeous spots for elopement photos inside and outside the NYPL, and Ben and Ale were shining bright in every single one. Strangers complimented and congratulated them everywhere they went.
After spending some time at the New York Public Library, like a true New Yorker, Ben hailed a cab for the two of them. They sped over to their home on the Upper East Side to do a quick refresh, and for Ale, an outfit change, for their private rooftop reception.
At their private rooftop reception, the champagne was popped! These two were grinning from ear to ear. I could tell they were taking it all in – this life and love they’ve built together. From Guatemala to NYC, their love has only grown stronger over the past 11 years.
