For couples celebrating their wedding in St. Louis and the surrounding area, Rebecca, an associate of Tawny Ballard Photography, is your St. Louis wedding photographer. Rebecca joined the Tawny Ballard Photography team officially in 2021, but worked as a second photographer with TBP years prior.

If I am booked for your date, you can still have the Tawny Ballard Photography experience and be a part of our crew! My associate photographer can photograph your day, especially if you’re having a wedding in my beloved previous city of St. Louis. We both have a similar styles of shooting and Rebecca will make you feel as comfortable as I would on your day! I still do all of the communication with you, prepare you for your big day, and edit your photos in my signature editing style. Rebecca will be your number one supporter and photograph on the day of your wedding!

Our Associate Program: How this works

I, Tawny (she/her; owner and lead photographer of TBP) will be your main point of contact throughout the process. I will respond to your inquiry, help you throughout the planning process, and edit your engagement and wedding photos in my signature style. Rebecca will be briefed on all of the details before your day. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to meet her (virtually) before the wedding and, in most cases, have the option of having her photographer your engagement session.

THE PROCESS –

1. Reach out via the contact form and mention that you’d LOVE to work with Rebecca. I will personally reply with your customized wedding collections and more information. We can also hop on a call if you prefer to chat that way! You’ll choose a package, sign the contract, and pay the retainer ($1,500). Then you’ll be welcomed to the TBP crew! 
2. We will plan your engagement session and get to know each other! In most cases, you will have the option of having your engagement session in St. Louis with Rebecca or in Chicago with Tawny.
3. I’ll send you resources along the way to help you with wedding planning and getting the best wedding photos possible. We will all chat before the wedding to make sure we have a solid timeline and I have all of the details.
4. Rebecca will come seamlessly document your wedding day, prioritizing your vision. 4-8 weeks after your wedding, I’ll deliver your gallery filled with images edited in my signature styled that will bring on the tears and the laughs.

Boo Cat Club

Boo Cat Club is a gorgeous wedding and event space just north of Forest Park that can host up to 200 guests. The refurbished historical site is brimming with enthralling architectural details. Their versatile spaces – the theather, the ballroom, and the catacombs (my favorite) allow your day to flow with ease.

The Noble

The Noble, situated in Tower Grove South, is a bank-turned-wedding-venue that boasts gorgeous art deco details. This incredible space details some of the building’s original features, including the brass bank vault. The Noble can host up to 200 guests.

Olive + Oak

Boasting a magnificant skylight and delicious food, the most sought after restaurant in the St. Louis area can now be the host for your perfect day. The Hall at Olive + Oak is a branch from the initially established Olive + Oak restaurant in 2016 and led by James Beard nominated chef Jesse Mendica Risk. Founded by two foodie families with a common love, the space was designed to combine the best elements of fine dining with genuine hospitality for up to 200 guests.

The Dogwood in the Grove

The Dogwood in the Grove is a chic and luxury wedding venue on Manchester. Featuring stylish modern decor and two stories of elegance, the lounge-style venue can accommodate up to 150 guests. This two-story venue boats a gorgeous bar and second-floor patio views.

The Piper Palm House

Piper Palm House, located in Tower Grove Park, is totally stunning. This conservatory sits on an open-air plaza that overlooks the historic lily ponds. The plaza is a go-to for cocktail hour while your wedding space is flipped between the ceremony and the reception. The tall windows, soaring ceiling, and towering palm trees are sure to wow you and your guests!

Wild Carrot

Located in the heart of the Shaw neighborhood, this eceletic yet elevated wedding venue is perfect for chic couples and up to 250 guests. The urban garden directly behind the venue is perfect for ceremonies and outdoor cocktail hours. Wild Carrot’s unique details and light-filled space are absolutely dreamy.

St. Louis Union Station Hotel

Located in downtown St. Louis, Union Station is a historic venue for weddings and other events in St. Louis, MO. Retaining a classic aesthetic, this picturesque hotel can host up to 300 guests. The Union Station Hotel offers an unforgettable, elegant wedding venue and legendary service.
