1. Hire a private chef
Did you know a private chef will come into your home? Set the table up with candles and your best dishes. Have your chef recreate a favorite meal, or better yet, let them create something custom for you.
2. Do a Staycation at your favorite hotel.
You know that hotel or Airbnb you’re always recommending to friends and fam who come into town? It’s your turn to enjoy it! Order room service, enjoy the huge bathtub, and bring champagne.
3. Rent a projector!
Sing your hearts out with karaoke OR cuddle up on the couch for a movie marathon.
4. Take an unexpected mini road trip.
Put directions (north, east, south, and west) into a hat and random numbers. Pull one of each, find a town that’s approximately that number of miles away, and hit “avoid highways” into the GPS. You’ll both see something new. Bonus: road trip snacks, even if you’re only going a few miles away!
5. Make the living room the ultimate romantic cuddle spot for Valentine’s Day.
Build a blanket fort or bring your mattress into the living room. Deck it out with blankets, candles, and charcuterie. Then, marathon your favorite TV show.
6. Merlot and a masterpiece at home!
Pop some bubbly or pour some wine. Gather the paint brushes and get a couple of canvases from the craft store. Put the results on Facebook for your friends to vote who did it better.
7. Have an epic spa night
Head to Ulta and grab your favorite sugar scrubs, bubble bath, etc and have an at home spa night.
8. Budget Target gifting fun!
Put the colors of the rainbow into a hat. Each of you draw one. Find five things under $5 the other person would like in that color!
9. Dinner and concert… Quarantine style.
Dress up, order your favorite takeout, and have a candlelit dinner. Then, put a concert on the TV from YouTube or Netflix.
Which one would you love to do? Share this blog your boo as a little hint for Valentine’s Day ideas 😉
